Adobe Unveils New Generative Photoshop

“Creativity is intelligence having fun, and with Adobe’s new generative Photoshop, the possibilities for fun are endless.”

Adobe has recently announced the release of a new generative feature in Photoshop, called **Generative Fill**. This feature is powered by **Adobe Firefly**, Adobe's family of generative AI creative models.

Generative Fill is available in the desktop version of Photoshop (beta) and as a module within Adobe Firefly beta. This feature allows users to create AI-generated images from simple text to add content, remove or replace parts of an image, and even expand the edges of an image.

This new dynamic feature is integrated into all of Photoshop's selection tools and produces a completely new "generative layer" so that users can work non-destructively while exploring the unlimited possibilities offered by this new technology.

The addition of Generative Fill to Photoshop expands creative expression, accelerates productivity, and increases creative confidence, transforming your creative process to achieve incredible results that will leave you speechless.

But that's not all. Adobe has also introduced new features that enhance and accelerate creative workflows, allowing users to perform complex edits and create unique designs while saving time. These new innovations bring significant improvements to some of Photoshop's most popular workflows: changing the overall look of an image, removing and replacing content, and increasing UI navigation speed.

This new version of Photoshop includes preset adjustments, a remove tool, a contextual taskbar, as well as a major update to the gradient function. These features are designed to make your creative process smoother and more efficient.

Generative Fill is just one example of how Adobe is pushing the boundaries of creativity with its innovative use of AI technology. With this new feature, users can easily generate high-quality content in a fraction of the time it would take using traditional methods.

Are you excited to try out this new feature and see what else Adobe has in store for its users?
